Forte Blockchain Gaming Company Inks Partnership With Ripple's Venture Capital Division To Create $100 Million Fund For Game Developers

Cryptobriefing, citing a news release from Forte, a tech startup offering a blockchain-based platform for game developers, reported that Xpring- the venture capital arm of Ripple- has signed a partnership with Forte to inject $100 million into an initiative to fund game developers.

The VP of Partnerships for Forte- Allen Ma- said in the press release:

"We’re excited to connect with developers who are running live game economies with tens of thousands of daily active users or more and have an active interest in using blockchain technology to improve their business."

According to Cryptobriefing, the fund to support game developers could benefit Ripple’s XRP token if it becomes one of the cryptocurrencies to be widely adopted by users from the lucrative $140 billion gaming industry.
