I have taken almost a year without going to the bank,that's the exact time I have been in crypto(Steemit).

I became active on Steemit last July and had completely forgotten about my bank! You cannot believe, but that's the truth.

I have always read about how crypto is a competitor to banks,but never felt it until yesterday!

I decided to take a late afternoon walk to the bank to check on my bank balance!

I witnessed live what I had always read about banks from the crypto folks! It used to be normal before I joined Steemit!

What Annoys About Banks That crypto Has Eliminated!

1. Long Queues

If you are in Africa or Uganda,this is clearly evident everywhere especially when paying school fees(i was once a student!).

The long queues are so annoying,you can wait there like for almost 2 hours,yes 2 hours.

I remember one time I was paying my tuition and got to the bank at 12 pm. I found a queue of many other students and parents and i ended up going back to university at 4pm...I didn't even have lunch(i like food even though I don't gain weight easily!!!😄).

Another part where there are always long queues is when registering for a bank account! This lines are insanely annoying to be in.

On the other hand there there are no queues in crypto ....What a relief.You can transact at the comfort of your home(to be precise in your pajamas!!).

All you need is an internet connected device and you are good to go.

The queues are long even the ATM machines damn,you line up for long hours to access your own money!

If you are Ugandan you can attest to this,you can spend up to 30 minutes waiting to withdraw your hard earned money !l
You cannot measure the joy I have for transacting in crypto,no hussle.

2. Much Personal Details

Now this is part many crypto folks hate,you asked a lot of unnecessary questions as if you will run away with your own money!

The details this guys ask include these personal ones below.

• Date of Birth

• Place of Birth(check contact Addrees below)

• Source of income!

• Marital status

• Annual salary!
  Check this below.
  

• Residential Address

• Employers Details
  

This is basically a lot if information to be given out,anyway the banks have good reasons why they need this details .

Now come to crypto,all you need is an email address.
An email address and an internet enabled device and boom you have your own bank in form of a wallet!

These reasons and many others i have not mentioned Will make many people cross to crypto.

There is little hassle in crypto,just internet and you have the whole world at hand.The good news is that,the internet connectivity is increasing in most developing countries.
