Un grupo de personas en un submarino empiezan a realizar investigaciones en el lugar más profundo del basto Océano Pacífico llamado La Fosa De Las Marianasencuentran varias criaturas extrañas que nunca antes habían visto, pero la criatura que todos pensaban que estaba completamente extinta aparece para sorprenderlos y llenarlos de terror a todos un Megalodón gigantesco aparece en frente de ellos.
Este gigantesco mounstro escapa a la superficie en busca de presas que devorar pero Jonas Taylor (Jason Statham) tiene experiencia con esta criatura ya a luchado con un Megalodón.
Taylor (Jason Statham) junto a el visionario oceanográfico chino (Winston Chao) tendrán la misión de matar a esta prehistórica bestia
