Ekushey Padak winning writer Belal Chowdhury died at a town hospital on Tuesday. He was 79, reports UNB.
The distinguished writer breathed his last at 12:30pm at Anwar Khan fashionable Hospital in Dhanmondi, Abdullah Pratik Chowdhury, eldest son of the writer, told UNB.
The decision of his concealing and observance are taken later when consulting with the relations, he added.
The writer was admitted to Anwar Khan fashionable Hospital in Dhanmondi on twenty seven August. Since then he was admitted at the hospital.
The writer was littered with polygenic disorder and excretory organ drawback for long.
Chowdhury served Republic of India Bichitra as its editor, printed from Indian High Commission in national capital. He was conjointly AN editor of Shaptahik Sandwip and Krittibas, a Bengali poetry magazine altered by Sunil Gangopadhyay.
