Starlings are the messengers of spring

Every villager tries to attract birds to his plot. They are mainly starlings. To do this, build a birdhouse and hang out on trees or long wooden poles.
We live near the forest and one part of our homestead is a solid wall of almost centuries-old fir trees. On them, we hang out the birdhouses.
A couple of years ago I had to cut several fir trees and lindens, some of the birdhouses were removed, and in the spring they regretted it, since the starlings had come and what had started ... they settled in a flock of oak and started screaming. I had to hang out new houses urgently. And the flock of starlings that year was filled with a vat - 50 new birdhouses. In some even squirrels settled.
The starling is a very interesting bird. It's a pleasure to watch them.

I can by duty watch how they fight the sparrows in the spring, evicting them from the houses. And in the summer, as they catch beetles and collect after the rain of worms, which in turn are dragged to their chicks.
Now is the most beautiful time, everything is blooming, lots of greenery, the soul is resting. In the morning I listen to birds singing, and in the evening I watch the starlings how they settle for the night on our oak.

And the most interesting thing is to watch how the starlings get their food.
Every year near the house there are so many young starlings that we will soon have to hang out new nests.

Every spring I wait for my starling company and prepare new houses for them.
And on summer evenings I watch my birds.
