Last week I journeyed west to Chiriqui, Panama and stayed at the Lost and Found hostel.
It's a unique place about a 20 min hike upward and inward from the road (on a bus en route to Bocas from David).
The property is surrounded by hours of trails for hiking.
After about 30 minutes after setting out, though, we got caught in an "aguacero" and decided to head back.
But back at the site there was plenty to do with good people.
And good hammocks!
I really recommend it for an interesting, friendly, and rustic experience.
Wow! How cool! I hope I can check it out soon!
