Steemit is a brand-new service that gives the members social news which can be a blogging and social network website. The exception to this platform is that is built on a database made up of a block chain which is known as Steem. This original project came about in 2016 by two individuals. They are Dan Larimer and Ned Scott who were the original creators of the BitShares concept. They also founded the Steemit Company which operates the Steemit website and funds any development that happens on the platform. The original concept of the site's operation was made to be very like existing blogging websites. It would provide social news to users but the text content of the website will be saved in the form of a block chain. This idea will see the comments being rewarded and the posts being given a token of value. This eBook will look at the many features of the Steemit platform and educate the reader on how it operates.
