Going forward

in busy •  6 years ago

I will probably get lot of heat for what I am about to write and some flags too. After seeing the latest HF20 debacle and loose attitude of STINC to get things fixed, I am not too confident on their capability to give out solid releases. On top of that they don't give two shits about steemit or any other frontend for that matter. I would have believed before that these changes are part of some master plan to create artificial demand for steem and inflate the price, but looking at their execution of things, I don't think they are smart enough to do anything of that sort.

So going forward I will be way less active here on steemit. I would rather put my time on something that's more than just a throwaway experiment. I will contribute to utopian when I can and maybe play steem monsters if it turns out to be interesting but for the most part, I won't be communicating much or writing much about normal things.

If steem cares about users like me (which I doubt they do), then they need to get their shit together.

Can you code blockchain?

Havent looked at one but coding is what i do for living. Most just fork bitcoin and go from thr

Maybe you could be a Steem witness?

Thats not a coding thing really. It requires running a witness server and that requires renting hardware. I don't want to invest any more money than I already have.

You really need to call the federal trade commission and file a complaint, I did and they didn't brush me off either. I told them there's always been speculation, conversations about this site hinging on being a ponzi/pyramid and maybe it was time it actually got looked into. When you put time into earning money then the upper tier locks you out until you are forced to buy their products and/or invest your own money to participate it becomes a scheme that benefits those at the top. It took all of ten minutes but everyone who complains those complaints land on various government/state enforcement agencies desk, meaning they get sent out to several agencies and someone's finally going to notice a uptick in complaints on a multi hundred million dollar operation where less then 250 out of over a million people hold the majority of wealth. The product being sold would be liquid steam. When you earn liquid steam that is yours to choose to either power up with or power down into US dollars for yourself but one shouldn't be forced to give it back to the company.

In a way it's definitely a ponzi scheme since nobody has to vote for you and Steem Power holders could only upvote themselves.

Yeah, well not sure how much time I can be on here anymore, made half a dozen comments last night and it took half my RC, looked tonight and I am still at half...regeneration looks like a slow process. Anyway it's been nice knowing but some people I just can't afford to joke around with anymore, they've taken the fun out of the place.

Yeah I think the bandwidth thing was better but I guess Ned didn't think it was scalabile.

Agreed agreed and agree some more. This is very frustrating. How can you participate on a platform that confuses the hell out of you on how to actually use it.
My resource credits still at 30%, Why??? No answers just speculation. My mana vote power will take 30 hrs to fully recharge.
Steemit please get your shit together.
