THE ONE THAT NEVER WAS

Lonely as the sun high up in the sky at noon was how i came into this world
Struggling forth and then insearch of happiness and solace
The lession on my heart was bleeding
The loneliness of our dear red earth was breaking me inside
But then, you came into my life
All flowers turned green, with its fragrance and beauty
You lighted my world and gave it back it sparks which had kept me through
You are a life partner; a gift from the past ancestors
Every beat and skip of my heart, all sounding nothing new
But the fears that lies deep in me
The fears that this cruel world could change this new found love
Indeed; through times that has passed, as the sun that accompanies it
Passing over our heads every count and then
You hath changed into the least i expected the very moment my gaze fell on thou
But what has hath this world of ours changed You into?
Free as the wind you were
like a soaring kite as you were
I was lead by the path i took
whilst; you carved a path of your own
Stumbling, rising, carefree you walked
As i fretted about the morrow
You simply reveled in today
living each moment to the fullest
where did you come from?
You who touched my heart and gave back its sparks
In a scorching sun; you were like a patch of shade
In an endless desert, like an oasis
On a bruised heart, like a soothing balm you were
Fearless! you frolicked in the river
Afraid! i stayed confined in the walls
Never hesitating, you swam against the tide
Wandering lonesome as a cloud
Yet; you are my dearest friend
A life partner......
But we're too scared to fight, been full of spite
Pride's our bedrock and ego fulls our heart
We resort to goodbyes only to make our souls cry
The heart beats and the eye bleeds but we're just frail
So we turn our tears into ink and put it on paper
Screaming all along, only inaudible
