Neveh Shalom Jewish Synagogue in Suriname
The Neveh Shalom Jewish Synagogue can be found at the Keizerstraat 82 Street in Paramaribo, Suriname. It is an Orthodox Judaism partnered foundation and it has been serving the Jews of Suriname throughout the previous 300 years.
The synagogue was established in 1665 and it took a while for this place of love to be finished. It was done around 1723 and was outlined by modeler Jan Francois Halfhide. It used to be a wooden structure which was supplanted by blocks and two groups are utilizing the foundation.
