These are the same place. Every culture / legend/ holybook has somewhere promised to her members/worshippers/citizens where all pain /struggles/ suffering shall end.
We don't know it's veracity but we like to think that it's true because then the human existence begins to make some sense.
Else, we are just some aimless beings walking around the surface of the earth only to eventually enter Oblivion. We love to think that there's hope because that's the only currency that will free mankind eventually.

Without hope of a better place i dont think there is any need for living the signs are clear are written that there is more to life than mere living.
