Nkom Bivoué, African DJ with Unique Sound

Nkom Bivoue is a cameroonian DJ-producer, sound mixing and mastering engineer and sound designer based in Yaoundé. After graduating from the Economical and Commercial High School of Douala (ESSEC), he decided to focus on music production, his passion since he was a teenager. He will start learning computer assisted music in July 2016 and six months later, will start making his first demos. Three years later, Nkom Bivoue will release publicly his first single Akelekui Tche, which means in his native tongue the Beti dialect, until dawn.

This young producer has a unique style, a blend of various African ethnic music and rhythms with Electronic Dance Music (EDM). He explores three main musical genres : Afro Dance, Afro House and Gqom. He doesn't follow the trend, but rather follows his inner voice and inspiration to produce music that talks to souls but still remains festive and danceable. He sees himself as a free thinker in his everyday life and especially when it comes. He often tell people that "I don't follow trends but only my heart and soul".

Nkom Bivoue listens to almost all kind of music but his preference goes to producers like Sarz, Major Lazer, Heavy K, Deep Forest and Masterkraft. He also likes singers like Drake, Jhene Aiko, Wizkid, Niniola and Kizz Daniel. This Year, he plans to release several singles, an EP and an album.
