Cocteau twins were a trio from Scotland with Liz Fraser on vocals, Robin Guthrie on Guitars and Simon Raymonde on different instruments. They disbanded in 1997. Fraser is a gifted singer and her voice is so dreamy and uniquely heavenly. Once your hear her singing, she can stay inside of you.

Their lyrics are so poetic and perfectly crafted that you can portray every word wonderfully in your mind and form a well-knitted picture of a story indented to be sent across by each song.

Rikean heart is a late song before the trio went apart. The song may sadden you, gives you a heavy heart or may get you into a very depressed state if you are constantly hearing the song. I do listen to the song, or I should say, I have been listening to this song for almost 20 years, whenever I’m in a helpless situation, I put on my earphones, crank the volume up to the maximum, loop it, and isolate myself from the outside world.
