I live in Ukraine but as a Bangladeshi right now i can't stop myself writing this new and article. On 29 July 2 students were killed by bus because of reckless driving. During a mad race between two buses for passengers, one of the drivers slammed on the brakes near the ramp of the Airport Road flyover adjacent to the Armed Forces Medical College in Kurmitola. Some people, mostly students, were about to get on the vehicle, the second bus came and ploughed into the crowd.
The result: the loss of two young lives.
Two of the injured died on the spot. Another critically injured student was taken to hospital, said witnesses. The identity of the injured could not be confirmed immediately.
As a result students took to the streets protesting the death of the two students and demanding road safety. By seeing current situation i can say that this is the first time Bangladeshi all age students gathered together like this in past 40 years.

WHY THIS ACCIDENT HAPPENED??
If we see this data we can guess why these accidents happened. Consider this: There are some 35.36 lakh registered vehicles in the country. So far, the BRTA, a transport regulator, has issued 26.39 lakh driving licences. This means, around 9 lakh vehicles are in the hands of drivers who don't have licences.Around 20 lakh unregistered vehicles that hit the road across the country with blessings from politicians and government officials, creating chaos and indiscipline in the sector, sector most of the people have said. Knowing this situation government still didn't take any actions.

So i can say what we can expect from these uneducated drivers. Its a question seriously!!! Where is our Government??
__ WHAT ACTUALLY STUDENTS WANTS FROM GOVERNMENT AND WHY THEY ARE ON STREET?__
From seeing current situation all i can say students wants only justice and demand to change traffic system of Bangladesh. They actually shown it how to do it .
But recently Government took serious action on these innocent students. Police force and some political peoples tremendously keep torturing on these students and raping girls.
Please i want everyone to share this current news worldwide and let these innocent students get justice... Only we people can help them and fulfill their demand changing total traffic system so that no one not a single person killed by accidents due to lack of government policy and actions.
