What is Experience?

Experience is the knowledge or mastery of an event or occurrence or even happenings gained through involvement in or exposure to it.

Experience is defined as the knowledge or understanding that is obtained or gotten through practical involvement in, or exposure to, an event or occurence.
Usually, in philosophy, knowledge based on experience, is termed as "empirical knowledge" or "a posteriori knowledge".

LIFE AND EXPERIENCE

Life is filled with experiences which may be good or bad, funning or sadding, pleasurable or painful. Many times, people are advised to learn from and through their mistakes. But how true is that? Is that good enough? Can bad mistakes and good undertakings be termed as experiences? Can they be our guide?

Life has got many ups and downs, and the reason why things get mixed up in the journey of life is to make you smarter as you get older. Of course, the ‘ride’ won’t be smooth because we all make mistakes at one point or the other, which sometimes could be as a result of our own carelessness and at other times, it could be from others. To err is Human. Whatever the case, there would be lessons to learn. These lessons can be termed as ‘Experiences’.

THE BEST WAY TO LEARN

It is said that experience is the best teacher, but to learn consciously through through may even be a better and more convenient way. To learn by experience it's too learn from these mistakes. Rather than leaving our learning to experience, why do we not learn consciously through wisdom?

We can learn by consciously going out of our way to acquire knowledge and wisdom rather than leaving or learning to chance.
Surely, we can Learn from mistakes. But, why wait till when we make mistakes before we learn? We should give more premium by wisdom than by experience.
