I ADDED A TREE TO PIXEOS

I will admit that I didn't get pixeos at first. But when I drew this tree as pixels I automagically fell in love.

I started out playing 8 bit games (Metroid, Super Mario, Megaman, Legend Of Zelda) and I have been a quiet fan boy of 8 bit artists on twitter.

But there is nothing like trying to make something yourself and living with the conflict in the fact that it doesn't look quite right - despite feeling like I am 8 again with corduroys and coke bottle glasses.

After looking at my block picture again... and again I could see the magic! Having to paint an image one block at a time falls quite short of reality, but sensing and seeing that fall... and how much different than the real tree is quite pleasing.

Then again... if I can see it has it become a real tree?

There were times where I looked and tried to add more to the tree, but, after a certain point, I passed a threshold. The more I added, the worse it got. It was what is was and I am learning to be OK with it.
