 Hello,

I am gonna share 3 photos every day which I saw on National Geographic website.

Photos of the Day#7

FIGHT FIRE WITH FIRE Four members of the Wyoming Hotshots crew use a controlled burn, called backfiring, to fight a wildfire in Custer, South Dakota. With a controlled burn, firefighters can burn up vegetation and fuel in the path of the main wildfire, slowing down its momentum.

TAKE A PEAK Your Shot photographer Saulius Damulevicius snapped this picture of Camp 2 while descending Ama Dablam, a mountain in the Himalayas. With its peak reaching 22,349 feet in elevation, Ama Dablam is the third most popular Himalayan mountain for permitted climbing expeditions.

DRAGON FIGHT Two male Komodo dragons fight on the beaches of Komodo Island, Indonesia. They're likely competing for the chance to mate with a female dragon; only one will be victorious.
