Singapore Airlines is going to start the longest airplane in the world. The company will launch their longest commercial flights from October this year. A report in Reuters reports that it would take about 19 hours of non-stop travel from Singapore to New York.
According to a news agency AFP, it has already started selling tickets for this aircraft. Singapore Airlines will use Airbus A350-900 model of the aircraft for the longest journey. The aircraft has the capacity to carry 161 passengers. Of these 67 commercial classes and 94 Premium Economy Class
Singapore Airlines said in a notification that the journey will cost about 16 thousand 700 kilometers. It takes 18 hours 45 minutes. This long ride will provide all facilities for the passengers. One flight will be operated daily from October 18.
Currently, the longest non-stop flight is in Qatar's airports, 17 hours 40 minutes.
