As a content creator and social media enthusiast (well, also a cryptofan), I can easily spot the bots that are most of the times the only ones who interact with recently uploaded content by the new and recent members and content creators here in Busy.org/Steemit.
This is basically a strategy behind these accounts that use bots to gain more following and create more traffic and interaction on their own pages, which in return creates a rather steady flow of passive Steem. This, of course by my point of view, is an unfair advantage. Although, I am not sure if there are rules against this within this community. Busy.org is fairly and obviously still in beta and a lot of content creators are taking advantage of that, but how far do you think can this go? How far do you think have all the bots taken over?
I am fairly new here in Busy.org, and to much of my dismay, a lot of bots are running around freely, following and unfollowing creators and then following them again if a new content is generated. This in basic analysis can surely grab most of your attention, and for now, it is nothing more than just a minor nuisance, but imagine if a lot more of these bots are generated, created, and let live alongside us, the natural born, hard typing, really and actually "busy creators".
Yes, you might say, it is a matter of one's content and choices for one to gain a proper following, but what do you think would the newer "busy creators" feel after being bombarded by all these bots, again and again?
So what are your thoughts?
