Yesterday one of the newbies that I brought to Steemit was complaining he made a post and got no support from anyone in our whatsapp group. he posted something on steemit and nobody commented nobody, nobody resteemed or upvoted. when I saw it, I smiled and knew he needed to know one or two things about steemit.

Steemit is one beautiful place to test the ability of a true entrepreneur. An entrepreneur is someone who can create something out of nothing. A true entrepreneur will survive wherever he goes. Take everything he has and send him to another land , he'll survive.

I was telling someone yesterday that if you steal @tojukaka or @ewuoso or @ejemai steemit account and tell them to to start anonymously with a new identity and no connection to old friends on steemit, they'll still be successful because they have a mindset that will always create something out of nothing. I've interacted with these people before and I know how they think and what they've achieved.

You wanna test the consistency of a person? Bring them to Steemit. I remember when I started steemit, I knew nothing about steemit . I saw a video by @jerrybanfiled on Facebook Two months after I dumped my account about steemit and how to earn. After watching the video, I decided to register on steemit. when I started I had no idea what steemit rules were, I had no training, no tutorial from anybody, 99.99% of my friends were on Facebook, Twitter, whatsapp and telegram.

most newbies these days have access to lots of tutorials on steemit post made by different steemians, there are lots of information online. the problem with right now its just laziness.

Mr steemit man who is your friend has managed to tell you about steemit and has managed to guide you through in making your "introduceyourself post", now you won't let him rest. He's now your father. You make $0.00 you run to him, you got no comment on your post, you run to him, you want to know the difference between steem and steem dollars, you run to him. You've become a burden to him, he's regretting telling you about steemit because all your steemit problems are on his desk. My brother man and my sister woman, when will you grow up?

Some people fail to realize that the "Mr steemit" who told them about steemit could have easily minded his business and keep getting more money for himself. but he decided to tell you about steemit. Anyone telling you about steemit has given you capital for your success on steemit. What you do with that capital depends on you.

Two of such great persons who took the capital (knowledge about steemit) to create a great part for themselves are @tojukaka and @misterakpan . They only asked me few questions about steemit and few weeks later, me the teacher of steemit became the student to @tojukaka and @misterakpan .

All you need to succeed on steemit is online. You want to know the difference between steem and steem steem dollars? Don't ask the guy that told you about steemit, go to Google.com, its online. you want to know the difference between steem and steem power , its online. You want to know the difference between steem and steem blockchain, its online. Only ask questions if you couldn't get answers after your research.

Some newbies want to be spoon fed. You tell them about steemit, you'll teach them how to make an introductory post, you'll them how to upvote, how to comments and then two weeks, they'll start saying

this your steemit thing is not paying me oh! why did you let me waste my time on it when it doesn't pay.?

Steemit is not a get rich scheme. When I started steemit, I made lots of blonders, at a point I had to just drop my account because I asked questions I didn't get answers from the community .

One day I asked myself

why are you waiting for people to answer your questions , why don't you go to google.com and search for answers yourself ?

I decided not ask questions on my blog anymore, I changed my pattern, I decided to start searching answers to my questions and I dropped those answers in my own simple way on steemit. That day my question was how to automatically upvote people when you're busy. After getting my results and posted it, I made $50 for the first time on steemit. the $50 that I made was without any boosting. I did not pay money to any bot to upvote me.

After that post, I said to myself "@samstickkz no one is responsible for your answers". my question is my responsibility now. How did I get the post? I went to Google.com and typed how to use steem voter and several results came out, I compared them and went to YouTube and searched for videos too. I summarized my answers, tried it on steemvoter and it worked. I took the solution with screenshot and made the post.

it wasn't too long, it didn't have big grammar, simple explanation on how it works and why I used it. Few days later, that post made $50.

The answers to almost everything you need is online. Taking a step to getting answers to your own question is an act of self discipline and training. Making attempts to Get answers to your questions online keeps you ahead of someone who just got the answers from someone. Making attempts to get answers to your questions could lead you new discoveries.

Be big enough to help others

I tell people to be big enough to help others. if you keep asking questions about simple things , you'll be putting yourself at the receiving end. And we all know you can't give what you don't have : the giver will always be greater than the receiver.

If all you do is disturb the Mr steemit that told you about steemit with questions, when will you start giving out answers like Mr steemit. Ask yourself this simple question.

all these things that Mr steemit is teaching me for free, how did he know about it? Did @ned or @nad install a soft copy of steemit white paper inside his head?

The day you make up your mind to become an answer like Mr steemit, you'll start becoming a giver. Be big enough to help others, you don't need to have 1000 STEEM to help people, you don't have to have hundred thousand steem power to become a helper. You can start with what you have. If you know how to plant cassava, make a post and teach people how to plant cassava. If you you know to cook or bake, do your thing, take pictures and post it on steemit. Create a service that will help humanity and soon enough you'll be rich.

Quit the attitude of a begger, each day you're saying give me, give me, give me upvote as if your name is Jimmy!

become a giver be big enough to help others. I must confess starting steemit is not easy, yes I know. My First few weeks on Steemit saw lots of $0.00 upvotes, but I didn't give up, I just knew there must be something I wasn't doing right and I had to check post that were trending and followed their pattern. (note: most of these guys hardly power down).

Engage in the community, make original and quality post, comments on other people's post. (not comments like "upvoted, resteemed, follow for follow".). participate in one of two giveaways, avoid powering down except you're extremely broke and before you know it, you'll start loving steemit.

Steemit is a proof that success has no short cuts, your input = output. Be patient, be consistent, be original, buy more steem power and don't power down except you get broke.

This post made my day. Actually, this can be compared with cryptocurrency, except the fact that i watched @dalemat video via his blog, everything that I know about trading I got them through reading. If it is not clear enough, youtube is there to help. I think the problem is the kinda education that people received, many got their palm kernel cracked by benevolent hands.

many got their palm kernel cracked by benevolent hands.

True.

That created a lazy mind for them.

posting on Steemit and keep getting ~ Transaction Broadcast error does anyone know what this means ? #blockchain

Anytime it happens, just wait a little, check your blog, if it did not post, redo. Else it will post twice

"Be big enough to help others" thanks for sharing this, really inspiring.

You're welcome dear

This is particularly true Mr Sam
I have learnt to research on what I do not know, I can't keep running to Mr steemit always as Mr Steemit also has work to do

Yes, only ask questions that you've made research on and have no clue after the research

Wow

This is amazing

As a newbie i have definetly learnt today

Thanks alot say

You're welcome @stevenson7

Nice post bro.....pls follow back

This is what we are just talking about.

Thanks mr sam, i got spoilt from a steem voter group but am learning now. Thanks giving me more help

You're welcome @onos

Please, ask him or her to read the post I dropped on my blog 2 days ago titled Chinese bamboo

Yes I read that your post and even referred someone to it

Great perspective. I agree 💯.

There used to be a website called "Let me Google that for you". Maybe there still is.

When somebody asked an easy question to research, you went to the site and it would create a short video of googling the question and then a link to the Google results.

If people want to make Steem work for them and build following, upvote, reputation, curation rewards, new friends, whatever they are looking for, all the resources and guides are on Steemit or on Google. You can even Google so it only shows Steemit posts as your results.

I'll check if it's still available. That should be best for replying some people

Honestly you just spoke my heart!!! I joined steemit with the assistance of a friend and he helped a lot bit along the way i had to start figuring things for myself...I had to be commited abd dedicated so when i see lazy newbies waiting for manna i sort of get slightly annoyed... I can help abswer questions but when the person wants to di nothing it can be so annoying

I know that annoying feeling. I only attend questions that are beyond their level

A very nice post,i have learnt alot,thanks

Thanks

Well SAID @samstickkz. You know more, learn more and have more when you do personal researches. It ain't wrong to ask questions, but doing your own research is far more profitable. So, DYOR! 👍

Yes I ask questions too, but I ask questions after my results didn't give me the desired results
