Long-legged flies are green or Dolichopodidae.

Dolichopodidae,
is a long-legged fly, green-bodied and the color of the lower back is bluish, this type of fly is a large family of true flies with more than 7,000 species described in about 230 genera spread throughout the world. The genus Dolichopus is the most special, with some 600 species. They are generally small to large, prominent eyes and cast metal for their appearance, although there are variations observed. Most have long legs, though some do not.

Flies of this type can be found anywhere as long as the place is cool with shady trees.
