This is hilarious!
Do anyone fall for this nowadays?
For my surprise when I go to check my email one of them tell me that my Instagram Account is valid to be verified.
OBVIOUSLY I WAS SUPER EXCITED.
But that didn't last. Check the email:
This is someone out there trying to scam me and steal my Instagram account.
But clearly not someone very clever. They didn't even put any effort on trying to make the email look any official.
First of all I checked who have sent the email and that was more than enough for me to know that this was a scam. As You can see below.
I have decided to share this with You to alert everyone about this type of situations.
Be very careful when clicking on any links that You receive on Your email or when any personal information is asked from You.
NO REAL COMPANY WILL ASK YOU THIS TYPE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION.
So I guess that this is not yet the time when I get Verified in a Social Media platform. Need to work harder.

Thats actually quite a dumb but also smart phishing attack. Though it would be worse if it contains a link redirecting to a fake instagram, guess they are too stupid luckily.

Excellent review @sergiomendes and you are right, such spam is sent only for hacking accounts, because the Instagram itself does not send such letters!

Yes I am so careful in clicking links @sergiomendes especially from email. Some people fall for that scam because not all people are aware of such evil online deed.
