If you take a close look at your eyes, you will find a very small hole on the bottom of your eyelids. Have you ever wonder what is it for and why it is located in your inner eyelids?

The little opening which is called lacrimal punctum is really and totally ordinary. Each human has two lacrimal puncta in every one of their eyes. Much the same as our hair, skin shading and tallness, this little gap shifts in estimate starting with one individual then onto the next.

While some people can easily spot the hole in their eyelids, some people find it hard to notice the small hole

Lacrimal punctum is a piece of our eyes' guttering and seepage framework as it capacities to deplete the tears in our eyes. On the off chance that your tear pipe begins to create tears because of overjoy, distress or as basic as when clean gets at you, the lacrimal punctum will deplete these attacks lacrimal sac. Lacrimal sac will later exchange your tears through lacrimal channel into your nose. However, if your eyes have a tendency to get watery more often than not, there is a restorative system to stop the condition.

Therefore, that is why you get runny nose when your eyes get teary

Wow... Interesting. I've heard reports of people breathing through their eyes. Maybe a different phenomena and a different passage, but this well explains it.
