Vitamin D is a very important component for the body. It is a soluble vitamin that contains vitamin D-1, D-2 and D-3. Vitamin D plays an important role in the development of bone and teeth due to normal growth and improved resistance against various diseases. Besides, Vitamin D accelerates weight loss, reduces symptoms of depression and keeps body functioning active.

According to the US National Center for Biotechnology Information, approximately 50 percent of the world population suffers from Vitamin D deficiency. According to the US Institute of Medicine, a healthy person needs to eat 10 to 20 microgram vitamin D daily.

Vitamin D deficiency may occur in the body for several reasons. For example,
