(27.30) Saudi Arabia agreement with the Vatican to build a church: Al Jazeera
Saudi Arabia has signed an agreement with Vatican City to establish church in the country for Christian citizens. Al Jazeera, quoted by Egyptian media Independent, wrote that the Patient Council, who was involved in Vatican interfaith dialogue, Jan Luis Turan visited Saudi Arabia in April. There may have been a deal to build a church in Jan Lewis Turan and 'Muslim World League' Abdel Karim al-Isha.
Without direct comment on the establishment of the church in Saudi Arabia, Turan said to Vatican news, an announcement has been made that will create more dialogue programs in the future. Juan Luis Turanan met with Prince Bin Salman during a visit to Saudi Arabia. From there, he told Vatican Radio, "I did not say good things about Christians and non-Muslims in schools and never considered them to be second class citizens.
The UK media Daily Mail wrote that Vatican and Saudi Arabia did not answer any questions asked to build a church. Al Jazeera could not be confirmed in his own sources about the news of making a church in Saudi Arabia. But on the news media cited by the Egyptian media, they mentioned that other religions are prohibited in Saudi Arabia except for Islam. Daily Mail wrote that among the countries of the region, there is no church in Saudi Arabia only.
