(28.07) Violence in 32 percent of the centers did not affect the results: EWG
In Khulna city corporation (KCC) election, 32 percent of the polling centers have found evidence of violence but it did not have any effect in the election results. It is said, after peaceful voting began, violence was observed in 32 percent of the centers after rising. Including, sealed on ballot papers illegally, violence inside and outside the polling station, presence of unauthorized attendees at the center and preventing voters from voting. Out of the centers, 12 violence, four violence, 18 polling centers, four observer centers, four in the center of the election, ten incidents of election campaign, and four for the special candidates of law and order.
The report also said that the long lines of voters were seen at the centers during the voting process. Of these, 37 percent were standing in the line of 1-20 voters in the center line. More than 40 voters were standing in line with 21-40 voters and 34 percent in 27 percent centers. Polling agents of Awami League mayoral candidates and 88.8 percent of BNP's mayoral candidate's presence were found in 99.3 percent polling centers. Claiming that the election was peaceful, Abdul Alim said, "How many incidents have happened that isolated incident The event was not large.
