In the case filed by the Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) on charges of acquiring illegal information and illegitimate wealth, the court ordered the transfer of Jhikargachha Upazila chairman Sabira Sultana to jail. Tuesday (July 17th) Special Judge-7 of Dhaka Judge Md. Shahidul Islam surrendered before the court and appealed for the bail application. After the hearing, the court ordered the jail authorities to send them to jail. Advocate Kamal Hossain argued for Sabina Sultana.

Earlier on Thursday (July 12th), Special Judge of Dhaka Shahidul Islam gave three years and three years imprisonment to the Sabina Sultan under Section 26 (2) of the Anti-Corruption Act 2004, for three years and 27 (1). At the same time, the court ordered the penalty of five thousand taka and two more months in default for further 3 months' imprisonment.

Besides, the order has been ordered to confiscate the Sabira Sultan's ten crore 78 thousand 135 rupees in favor of the state.

Subsequently, in the search of Dukk, it is found that under the dishonor of the property worth Tk. 18, 78, 135, including providing false and false information about the wealth of 45 lakhs rupees, Sabina Sultana earns her wealth. Which is incompatible with its legitimate income.
On July 20, 2010, Syed Ahmed ACC (Assistant Director) filed a case with the Dhanmondi Police Station. Then on July 25, 2009, the chargesheet was filed in court. On November 9, 2011, the court formed a charge against the accused.
