Dulal Das, a fisherman in Palash upazila's Kurtalali area, said, "Pabda, Shing, Kai, Mani, Khalisha, Molla, Ridge, Bain, Sandy, Taki, Saul, Magura, Gajar, Pabda, Tengra, Kanola fish are now on the way to extinction. Fisheries are not available in the canal-bills and rivers in the past due to environmental factors like agrarian pesticides, navigability crisis, pona and breeding fish.

Barman Barman said in the jail of VT Chinadi village of Shibpur upazila, "In one of the traditional Chinese Bills of Shibpur, a long time domestic species of fish were caught. In the meantime, necessary steps have been taken to increase the cultivation of indigenous fishes in ponds and ponds by training in district training.
