I was by Union Square Park recently and came across this piece of art in the little Park across from the main Union Square Park, and it was quiet eye catching even on a fairly dull grey morning, it must really pop and be eye catching on a sunny day.
The work is by Dale Chiluli, a quite famous artist who has pieces all over the place, this was different from many of his other works I have seen but equally beautiful.

When I made this comment, I was viewing on my laptop, you had an image with an opening parenthesis ( on one side, and everything after that went to hell.
What I am seeing here now is perfect.

It is a beauty! Would love to see this one with the sun shining on it! I think it would be spectacular. Sorry I haven't been around to comment much lately. This is a different work for Dale Chihuly, I've seen his work all over as well, but it is often more globulary with radiating spokes reminiscent of sea creatures, that colour is so vibrant.
