Because they realized it made those people more popular. lol
Twitter stopped shadow banning people they disagree with.

Nah. More wrongness.
Twitter bans and still (as of a few days ago) bans a lot of left wing journalists, and regular users. None of them ever get attention. 0% of left leaning people attacked by twitter have gotten justice or more popular. Most of them had 50-1000 followers and made new accounts with fractions of what they had.
Again, when you see this "more popular after being banned!!!" trend, it's not real. It's mostly already established and already popular people, and almost always it's right wingers.
Twitter caters to the hard-right, letting nazis, pedophiles, and fascists roam around and doesn't do anything because they're cowards, and they partake in targeting minorities constantly.
I recommend reading more media from differing sources and perspectives because on this issue you are DEAD wrong.

Nope, Twitter just removed it shadow bans.
It is absolutely the most real thing possible. Any time someone is banned its a badge of honer and instant attention because everyone wants to know why.
Alternate reality. Twitter is pretty left leaning like most tech firms. They attract those kinds of people to work for them.
The only minority that twitter targets is Candace Owens.
Nope I am correct. :D
Alex Jones is even more popular now too! If you were right his popularity would have declined but now he is gaining huge support now!

Funny because I see a lot of people I know who are still shadow banned as of 20 seconds ago lol.
You mostly point to people that are to-big-to-fail, can you point to someone who had 1000 followers or less who was banned and skyrocketed in popularity? Once you do, I'll admit to being wrong.
Tech Giants are not left-leaning at all. They are establishment, and establishment is inherently right-wing in america.

Any place with an HR department is naturally left leaning honestly.
So you admit I am right then. I thought I was DEAD WRONG. Now the goal post is moving to small people. Well, in the name of being right in the first place ill extend an olive branch that this effect can be pretty hit or miss for small content creators.
Thing is, censorship NEVER WORKS. It CANNOT WORK EVER on the internet.

DEAD WRONG on the "this always happens", because it doesn't always happen. It only happens to popular right-wingers. That's it.
Reminder that lefties get fired from their jobs and lose all their media access and social media accounts all the time. Even a lot of popular ones. Censorship only doesn't work against the right because centrists (like yourself apparently) get mad about it all the time and ignore progressives and let Big Tech(tm) get away with murder on one side and not the other.

But it kind always does.
Because it never happens to neo liberals. Name one super well known lefty who has been banned and fell into obscurity. I'd like to know honestly.
One of the reasons I left my last job was because they didn't like a Facebook post I made that same day talking about anti censorship...
Ultimately it was mutual when I was leaving anyway but that actually was something that came up and it was... Really fucking weird... They had people literally watching my Facebook... Another person I knew was fired for making an attack helicopter joke. I don't even think she was right leaning.
Neo Libs are INSANE and they waste their time brigading people to get them censored all the time now and corporations are mostly complicit.

Neo Liberals and Right Wingers are the same style of enemy, I consider them identical. They both want to censor everyone at all times and both have incredible power to do so.
Can you define "super well-known" for me? I don't really follow many people over the 10k range, but I can probably dig up some examples later.

I agree, but the lefties own the tech firms and the Right wingers are being herded to censorship resistant / decentralized / superior platforms... So in the long run things will be heavily skewed to the right. They will have big crypto bags and more voting power in general.
If the left had a presence on the platforms the right was being pushed to then there would be less of a toxic situation. But as it stands the left has zero presence on alt media and the right are pushed into it with nobody to fight them so they will fester and grow in echo chambers.
I mean we are seeing this right now honestly. So the end result is going to be an infinitely stronger centrist and right wing political sphere. And zero ways to combat them.
Everything I see happening right now means that non Neo Liberals are going to dominate all political spaces. Alex Jones will be far bigger in 3-5 years because his growth will coincide with the growth of the alt media.

The people getting shadow banned would post proof of it on other social media pages and it would be like a way to prove how controversial they are.
