What the fuck is this "Busy" shit?

Someone help me out here. What the fuck is this "Busy" shit? I'm still trying to figure out why half the shit here says "See post on Dmania." I'm gone for five minutes and now there's this new thing. My caveman ass can't keep up. I assume dTube is like YouTube but I don't know how that works either. I finally got a decent handle on voting bots but now I'm told I'm supposed to hate them.

I logged on to the site. I'm actually posting this from there so I can see what happens. I mean, as far as I can tell it's Steemit but with a few more bells and whistles; which is cool. Is there anything else going on here? Is it a scam, opportunity, neither, a bit of both? You know me, I don't normally brag, but 7 out of 10 times I'm the smartest guy in the room when when I go to a Craigslist hotel BBW cuckold interracial gangbang, but real talk here: I'm lazy and I've been mass murdering brain cells like the Khmer Rouge since before I could grow a decent set of pubes. This old dog don't learn new tricks as fast as he used to. Like Pickle Rick always says, "What's the dill?" Is this worth fucking with or is it going to be the new thing everyone's talking shit about next week?

For absolutely no good reason, here's a gif of a stoic monkey being combed.

Blah. I'm to busy to try and figure out busy..

word up on that.

In my opinion, STEEM = a blockchain + cryptocurrency
steemit.com = a blockchain explorer and wallet
busy.org = another blockchain explorer and wallet

.

Sounds legit. We'll be retarded together.

I don't use Busy. It's just another way to access and blog on this blockchain, basically. I'm not sure, but they might take a cut of your rewards. It's been around for awhile and I've seen some reputable members using it. It's not a scam. It's just a... thing. A thing people use. Probably. Nice monkey.

"It's just a...thing." After exploring busy.org more and after reading everyone's replies, this is probably the most accurate description.

Dmania is like 9gag but from steemit, you can see only memes from steemit. And busy is the same shit as steemit but i use it because it has notifications

I do like the notifications on there. If they could just move that, photo albums and a private message function over here Steemit could give Facebook a run for its money.

Some people like it - but I'll be honest here - I think it's a pain in the arse front end for Steemit designed for people who want to run about like headless chickens

Awesome band, crap for websites

The Headless Chickens first became known in New Zealand when they won the 1987 Rheineck Beer Rock award. The prize money from the award went into the funding for their innovative (for its use of sampling) 1988 debut album Stunt Clown.

At the time, the band's use of electronic elements and sampling in a "rock" setting was out of the ordinary and had an influence on many other N.Z. bands that followed them

Were they inspired by Mike, the headless chicken?

Damn that's gross!

Busy has extra features that the Steemit interface doesn't have including saving drafts, a referral program, post bookmarks, voting slider for those under 500sp, and much more. I use it sometimes— not all the time. They also will upvote you twice a day for using the editor to post your posts if you include the tag busy. Otherwise it's just another interface. :)

I like the fact that I can see my "alerts" too as soon as I log in. I don't have to manually comb through items to see who commented or replied to what. It also actually keeps me logged in, where Steemit doesn't even though I tell it to. For me, it's just an easier interface to use.

That's a good feature too. Although I use Ginabot for most of those on discord. I also like to be able to quickly see the ALL, not just the alerts I ask for from the bot. Helps when I miss a few. Busy really is more feature rich. There's yet another interface coming out as well that has even more features. I just wish they were all in one honestly. So far I jump between steemit, using steemplus, busy, and tools on discord. It's a lot actually.

Rightly said @omitaylor busy get more added features and enhanced look....even you can put your signature by default for each post...

That's a good feature too. I hope they add snippets and templates one day, then I'll use it more.

Damn, that sounds useful. I don't want to have to learn all that new shit.

At least try @ginabot ;)

Great post!

I am with ya man. Steemit just needs to get a better interface, I heard that busy is good but I have never checked it out either.

🤣🤣🤣

AYAUHAUHAUHAUHAUAHUH
I love none sense gif :)
I got not clue what dmania is. All those apps are not organized!
Cheers.

Busy just has a different interface -More facebook/myspace like. You can adjust the feed from what I remember so that you can just see your content instead of the stuff you resteemed. So it was good for clutter. It also seems to be the site to use when steemit is having any hiccups as busy always seems to keep on trucken even when steemit is encountering issues you can still usually post and comment via busy. It has changed since I have last used it so things could be completely different. That is what I know of these matters anyways.

Speaking of clutter and Steem accessories. I justs spent an hour going through my feed page and unsubscribing to the gillion people I subscribed to on Steem Engine. I scrolled through like ten pages and didn't see any of you or Bleedpoet's posts because of all the clutter. Although after slogging through all the posts I feel like I know a lot more about Indian culture now.

Well, it is always nice to learn new things right? I cleaned my subs down to like 100 people now. I rarely check my feed anyways. I just hop to peoples accounts via peoples comment sections, tell I end back at people I like.

Yes it's really nice To learn more and more on steemians how to earn SBD.

This slipped past my radar, I've been busy😄 Basically it's another user interface for the steem backend, along the same lines as utopia.io, prefer Steemit till that fucking robot shows up all apologetic about getting his nuts all over the place.

Vote bots are fucking great, if I could remember my f@cking password for steem voter I'd be on that like stink on rice, and I'm not even defending it because I know I was on your list😘 Manual curation is a pain in the ass, I have so many people I try to remember to invite without fail, and then I get a message from them and half their shit expired and I feel like a lame-o

I hate that steem voter makes you pay. My tab ran out so I have to wait until I have some more SBD to get it going again. Having those auto votes is a great way to let people know you are thinking about them, even when you are unconscious.

I had no clue it was a pay service. I spend nights trying to reply and vote before my eyes glue shut, probably worth the cost. Then part of me says fuck it, half the fun is reading the posts, not to swell your head, but yours are some of the best going.
