Gratitude Day 45/62: Karma

About a month ago, a friend of mine gave me a telegram link. It was a link for investor's group. A new product was about to be launched and the owner was doing a presale before releasing the product to the market. I appreciate such things. Information like this is what usually separates rich people from poor people.

Today I sent him a message and told him to check the telegram group. Apparently, the presale was about to come to a close and he was on the verge of missing what should be considered as a great opportunity. This time around, It was his turn to say thank you. The amazing thing is that he forgot that he was the one who added me to the telegram group.

When I think of this particular scenario, it reminds me of something we call karma. What goes around comes around. The good that men do live after them. Just imagine what would have happened if he kept the information to himself. A lot of people don't understand this. In this life, we all share a common resource. Everything you do is connected. We are all connected. If you help someone get on their feet today, you never can tell if that person will be the one who will help you. I remember my early days in Steemit. I didn't understand markdown. It was @samstickkz that taught me. I remember teaching him how to do utopian. Our relationship has been like that ever since. If I find a good opportunity, he is the first person I'll tell. You know why? I know that he would do the same for me if I was in his shoes. What do people know you for?

In this life, try to be good to everyone. Be like the man who said these words:

I shall pass this way but once; any good that I can do or any kindness I can show to any human being; let me do it now. Let me not defer nor neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again.

Today I'm grateful for the gift of Karma. The natural law that ensures that you reap what you sow. When I'm dealing with people, I deal with them with an open mind, knowing fully well that even if they do not appreciate my kindness or goodness, there is a law that will ensure that I reap what I sow.
