The legendary soccer player Michael Owen is preparing to release his own crypto money. According to Bloomberg's claim on March 21st, Liverpool's former player Owen, who has partnered with the Singapore-based Global Crypto Offering Exchange (GCOX), will continue to market Owen Coin, born out of his name.

Michael Owen drives OWN tokens into next quarter's market

The OWN tokens, which will be launched in the next quarter, will be used to donate to charitable charitable organizations. OWN will also be linked to football centers where Owen lectures in addition.

GCOX is a Blockchain-based initiative that allows celebrities to create their own digital currencies called "Celebrity Tokens" that fans can use to pay for special content. According to the Bitcoin Exchange Guide reports, the GCOX idea first appeared in February 2017.

The creators of the project indicate that they have emerged as the first initiative to help the folks off their cryptographic currencies. But there are also different players on the market, like TokenStars, who are promoting the Blockchain company, which has for the first time unlocked the reputations.
