The baker argued that keeping his business open seven days a week generated sales that allowed him to arrive until the end of the year. However, in 2017 the permit was not renewed. Even so, Vaivre decided to continue working all week during the summer period. Now, he has received the fine, which the baker considers "too hard" and which he hopes to reduce with the support of his community.

It's not normal, "one of the neighbors who is collecting signatures of support for Vaivre told the station. The petition to "help our bakery" and to make an amendment to the decree allowing "opening seven days a week during the summer" of the trade, which was launched at the end of February, now has more than 2,300 signatures .
