I Used To Pray For Times Like This
Back when we were pushing $9 I used to kick myself for not buying Steem for under a dollar and here we are under $0.60. For those of us who are here for the longterm believe that our future rise is only inevitable, so the only question is...
"when and how should we buy more Steem?"
I decided to pull the trigger around $0.80 and became a dolphin and I have no regrets even at these discounts. I decided to leave a little bit on the side just incase we did dip, so I am kinda excited to grow even more soon!
Why Not You?
So many of us can make excuses on why we can't grow on our Steem, but in reality we make time and allocate resources for whats important.
There is no doubt that the more Steem you have powered up, the more attention you will get in the community, so why don't you forgo that coffee or cut back on your weekends or expensive hobbies for a bit to accumulate as much Steem as you can while the prices are dirt cheap?
There is a possibility that we might fall even lower, so dollar cost averaging in is always a great idea.
No matter what you decide to do during these uncertain times, just know that there will be a time where you will look back at these prices with either regret or euphoria!
Even if it's just a few dollars, don't miss out on you're opportunity to get closer that dolphin or whale status!

No regrets is the way to go for sure.. you can't perfectly time the bottom so you gotta be willing to be early.
If you're gonna buy more you could always start averaging in too, a little each month or something.
I wouldn't be surprised if all of 2019 was bear market (for crypto in general).
But of course.. when it pops it can pop hard.

Man I hope all of 2019 is a bear market! I’m tryna reach your level ASAP 😂 But yeah I think ima start averaging in around January. Hopefully Bakkt and Fidelity help us pump for a few months

I am hoping we can hold around 60 cents. I am not convinced BTC will drop that much below mining costs to push steem to 0.4

Depends on a lot of factors mostly electricity price and cooling costs. If your getting state subsidized nuclear power in Siberia or China and use simple heat exchanges with frozen ambient outside temps to keep it all cool then it could be as low as 4k. But for most of the world I would imagine they are below marginal cost of production already .

From what I hear, mining pools in China have the majority of the hash rate so they might be in profit if they fall under that situation!
We’ll see tho! I don’t have a ton on the side to put in, so I’m more than happy if we shoot back up

I did the same yesterday! Looking very good to dollar cost average into more at these prices! If it keeps up I many average out at around $1 which is crazy to consider!
