The Prodigy, Iron Maiden and many others will play on Nova Rock

The post of the Austrian Rock Festival Nova Rock for the year 2018 is almost entirely known. With the latest addition, Shinedown, Gentleman, Bad Religion, The Bloody Beetroots (live), Eisbrecher, Baroness, Life Of Agony, Enter Shikari, Less Than Jake, The Raven Age, The Last Internationale, Starcrawler.

Why are we telling you about an Austrian rock festival? Because this is, perhaps, the closest to Bulgaria a big rock festival, which is definitely worthwhile to go.

Nova Rock takes place in Pannonia Fields, Nikelsdorf, near the border between Austria and Hungary, and is about 940 km from Sofia, making it a very affordable destination for car travel. The road to the country is relatively good and easy to reach: Serbia and EU countries only need an ID card and the route is mainly on highways. Of course, there is always the option with an airplane, except for Vienna you might also think of Bratislava, which is less than 40 km from Nikelsdorf.

For its fourteenth edition, the festival has featured The Toten Hosen, Avenged Sevenfold, Volbeat, and Iron Maiden as headliners of four nights, and the list of other performers announced so far is more than impressive:
The popular names are The Prodigy, Marilyn Manson, Billy Idol, Stone Sour, Limp Bizkit, Sunrise Avenue, Rise Against, Billy Talent, Seiler & Speer, Kraftklub, Megadeth, Skillet, Body Count ft. Ice-T, Dame, Arch Enemy, Ok Kid, Hollywood Undead, Killswitch Engage, Asking Alexandria.
And like every other year, the leaves do not stop here but continue with Brian Fallon & The Howling Weather, Black Stone Cherry, Dead Cross, La Brassbanda, Mad Caddies, Anti-Flag, Meshuggah, Nothing But Thieves, Turbobier, Krautschadl, Stick To Your Guns, Donots, All The Witches, The Struts, Powerflo, Beast in Black, The Charm The Fury, Lionheart.

Ticket prices start at 174.99 euros in total for the four days and include a parking space and a camping spot. If you do not have a tent, the organizers have invented it - the so-called a tent hotel, and for caravan owners there is also a special camping option.
The festival features two large main scenes, one small and a multitude of objects: from food and beverage kiosks, to merchandising stands of groups and amusement attractions. No cash payments are made, and all is done with a special card that is charged in place and from which the remaining money can be withdrawn.
This year, Nova Rock will be held from June 14th to June 17th (Thursday - Sunday)
