So, how do our senses become more “sharpened?”
I would say it is in our coming to be more present to the experiences that arise from our every waking moment … first and foremost, breathing our breath, smelling the symphony of aromas, observing the sights, savoring the tastes, feeling the textures … and witnessing them all very specifically.
There are no shortcuts to being in the now … no quicker way to be here than in simply letting go, and opening all parts of you, including your cognitive mind, especially the skeptical parts of it, to all that this moment provides you.
