This was a real treat to judge, thank you everyone for your wonderful submissions!
I know I have a few new photographers to follow and I hope you take a look at the profiles of the photographers featured here. There were more great photos that I was unable to include so please search for the #bwphotocontest tag as well! There were so many different and beautiful interpretations of "Landscape"!
Friendly advice: BW photography is not merely desaturated colour photography, the darkest black should be black and brightest white should be white; a grey mess is rather uninteresting, even if in colour that image is mind-blowing. On the opposite, a bland colour photo can be transformed into a work of art when rendered in black and white! Get out your photo-editing software and experiment!
"Landscapes" was the theme for this week's bwphotocontest as such the nice cat and portraits were not considered (though they were very nice!).
