Deep Forest

Hiking on one of the higher mountains in the local area. Mt. Kongo (1,125m), this was on the way down. All of these trees are cedar, prized for construction in Japan as it resists decay and grows very straight.

Nice contrast!

Thank you @arx27!

in love with these parallel lines of trees !

It's even more impressive in person with the trees 360° around you! Thanks @victorbz!

oh sure !!! i have go to the place like this and to lost my mind there forever !!

As long as you don't get physically lost, letting your mind wander for a while is perfectly fine. :)

sure !

Love this!

Thank you very much @nadejdaalienor!

This is beautifully done! Love the contrast in nature look.

Thank you so much @angel35mm!

I plan to go Mt. Kongo in Autumn or winter.

I recommend autumn, the leaves should be brilliant! Winter is good too, sometimes there is snow, not always though.

Autumn starts the of October, right?

Yes, mid-late October and November are the best times to visit Mt. Kongo for the leaves.
This site has lots of information but is in Japanese Osaka Autumn Leaves

Thank you so much 😊

Just like @victorbz I love the parallel lines and the scale it helps show in the image. Your treatment of the Image is perfect as well. Cheers.

Thanks @harshameghadri! I've tried many times to get a shot that communicates that, I'm glad it was successful!

A stunning frame. The pristine and untouched forest. It's a breathtaking view!
