Facts about Connaught place

• It is one of the beautiful places to visit and shop in Delhi. A perfect DilliKhor spot to enjoy and roam with friends.

I have listed few surprising facts about Connaught place that only a few people know.

Construction:

It took 4years to build Connaught place from 1929 to 1933 and government planned to have New Delhi railway station built inside the central park but rejected the idea after railway authorities found it impractical.

Flag:

It hosts one of the largest flags in the country of size 60feet * 90feet. Setup by Flag Foundation of India and new Delhi municipal corporation(NDMC). HATSOFF to them.
