Natural disasters caused by man

Man has caused many disasters to nature by constructing and building equipment that is dangerous to our environment, examples of what nature has given to us is:
Air
Water
Plants
Animals
Mineral resources,etc
The air is polluted by man through smoke houses or industries.
Water is polluted by exploitation of pipelines and disposal of sewage in our lake and seas.
Plants are not being taken care of by humans and animals are exploited and killed for no reason.
Mineral resources are misused by developing chemicals dangerous to our environment.
Why is man so inconsiderate?
What should we do to stop this menace?
