On Friday, August 24, president George Manneh Weah will do something seemingly unprecedented as he will honor two prodigious managers who played key roles in his success story as that great footballer stunned the world in 1995, winning the African Footballer of the Year and the FIFA World Footballer of the Year award. On the over all the generous one, President Weah, won a hat trick of African Footballer of the Year award.

Certainly, August 24, will bring to the limelight, Gratitude at its highest ebb, and Liberia's 24th president, George Manner Weah, must be applauded for his admirable decision to honor the examplary duo of Arsene Wenger and Claud Roy who recommended and developed the talent of the legendary Weah respectively.

President Weah has violated no constitution, done no wrong and has done nothing in- expedient. All his decisions in this latest development shown towards the great duo of football managers Claude Le Roy and Arsene Wenger, the former recommending Weah to his friend, the latter who developed him to stardom worth all the commendation in a country that remains impoverished and with its leading sports, football, still at very low ebb, despite the formation of the Liberia Football Association (LFA) since 1936.

Mainly younger players must be ecstatic about this latest honoring program initiated by president Weah, and despite refusing to further his education oversea for the sake of his passion, football, the game has made him prominent, and the two great managers who played key roles in his success story deserves all the recognition, and the message is"Gratitude".

Bravo Dr., President Weah for such a salient decision in honoring managers Wenger and Le Roy whose innovation, hard work and desire to see young footballers excel, and placed on the highest spiral. As the rest of the country prepare for the ecstatic celebration, it is our fervent hope that the Lord Almighty will give you the fortitude to steer the affairs of our beloved country, Mama Liberia.
