Trokon Myers returns to BYC Football

Trokon Myers said "the time is right to be back at BYC" after completing his move from LISCR FC.
The striker returns after two years away, having left BYC for LISCR in 2016, following his desire to “experience life” away from BYC.
Myers, who has signed a two-year deal, added: "This is the right club for me to achieve everything I hope for.”
Robert Lartey who once coach Trokon at both BYC and LISCR said the former Fatu FC forward could be "the heart of the club frontline” for years after the departure of former captain, and 2016 LFA Golden Boot recipient Van-Dave Harmon to Europe.
The announcement of Trokon rejoining BYC was made on Saturday, August 25, 2018, and officially confirmed Monday, August 27, 2018.
The club statement on August 25, 2018 read“We have reached an agreement with LISCR FC for the transfer of Trokon Myers.”
On Monday,the former Liberian Champions release a statement confirming Myers rejoining the Blue family with a photo of Trokon in the club jersey, and club President Nathaniel Sherman.
“We are delighted to announce Trokon Myers has officially rejoined us from LISCR FC.”
“Myers completed a medical and has agreed a two-year contract with the option to extend for a further year. “Welcome back to Blue Field Trokon. “the club said.
Myers, who helped LISCR win the double last season, has won several titles at BYC.
The striker joined BYC from first division outfit Fatu FC and scored over fifteen goals for the Blues in his three years stay.
Trokon said his manager and fans told him he would return to Blue Field and that was his "destiny".
Speaking to BYC media, he added: "It was like I'd just came back home. I just went for a holiday."
Myers said, he had spoken to coach Lartey “a few times", as well as talking to his former teammates who are currently at BYC about his return.
"He gave me energy, he gave me positivity," said Myers. "They all told me he's the coach for me - he will make me improve a lot and make me work harder."
“I am delighted to rejoin BYC. It has always been a club with a special place in my heart and I am really looking forward to working with Robert Lartey and my new teammates. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at LISCR and have some fantastic memories "of a great club with players that I count as friends. But I feel “the time is right” to go back to Blue Field. I always enjoyed playing in front of the fans and can't wait to make my contribution to the team. This is the right club for me to achieve everything I hope to in the game.” The retuning Myers said.
In aseries of messages to LISCR supporters on social media, Myers said: "Goodbye means nothing, it is the time we spent together that matters. I will bring with me a piece of you and leave you a little piece of me."
“He said: "This transfer took so long because it was a huge decision and involved lots of thinking and work."
Myers claimed 2yrs ago he left the club immaturely "frustrated" but I’m back to finish what I started.
In his second debut for th Club against Watanga FC Myers open the scoring for BYC and created a penalty for BYC’s second goal in a game the Blues won 3-0.
The Shipping Boys thanked Myers for the “two years of triumphs lived together", which included three trophies in total.FB_IMG_1536072406650.jpg
