BACK UP YOUR BYTE BALL WALLET

Hey guys so I noticed that once you uninstall your byteball app or maybe misplace your phone, your wallet will essentially be gone forever.
As much as everybody loves fast cash, byteball actually helps you save a little money, because 75% of what you earn is actually locked in a smart contract for 1 year and you just might need that money by this time next year. So here's a step by step guide on how to back up your wallet as well as restore it.

1. Start up your Byteball app

2. Click on the 3 dashes at the top left corner
   < center>

3. Click on settings
   

   

4. Scroll down and click on Full Backup
   

   

5. Set up a password for yourself and click on Export
   

   

When you're done, you should see something like this

1. Check your phones file manager, a folder for byteball would have been created. In that folder, you'll see the backup file. I advise everyone to find a secure place and save that backup file.
   

1. Next up, to restore your wallet, click on Restore From Full Backup
   

   

2. Finally, select the backup file from your phone and upload it, then enter your password. The app will shut down. Open it again and your wallet would have been restored.
