Cabalen Christmas Countdown: Pukpok Palayok

I found myself drawing more than writing when the brain is tired, and been telling myself to get back to some writing soon or else restarting the engine will be difficult.

Before that, art first. I am using countdown art prompt by @quatro called Pukpok Palayok.

Pukpok means to hit with something hard and Palayok means pot. So this game literally means hit the pot. The one hitting the pot is blindfolded to make it exciting and fun.~@quatro

This, to me, looks like the game called piñata. I am not sure is it just my family because I had never played this before during my childhood. I first knew about it when I watched Despicable Me with my children. What a shame! It is indeed a fun game.

I love the language from Kampanga people - Pukpok Palayok. There is always the element of action in the words.

In my language, it will be 'pukul' or 'hentam' which don't quite represent the action of the game. Still, 'Pukpok Palayok' wins it all.
