Unlike the Gregorian calendar, the Chroma Celestial calendar is celebrated by a moment of silence and introspection. Imagine if all humans on Earth clapped hands at the same time. Would it cause an earthquake? Better still, imagine if every human on earth remained silent at the same instance. Silence is the loudest sound. The Chroma Celestial calendar is designed to synchronize the new year to a single precise moment.
Year 1 of the Chroma Celestial calendar began on December 21, 10:44 am (UT) 2016 and will complete on December 21, 16:28 (UT) 2017. The only odd month is Sun month. Otherwise every month is 35 days in length and has a 5 day week. The weekend dosn't exist on this calendar, nor does the sabbath. The only odd days are the last day of the year and the first day of the year. Unlike the Gregorian calendar, the Chroma Celestial calendar is celebrated by the precise moment rather than every hour for 24 hours consecutively across Earth.
Every 4 years the Chroma Celestial Calendar changes format to a 6 day week, to include Violetday. During a leap year every month is 35 days instead of 36. The odd Sun month is one week during a leap year. Unlike the Gregorian calendar, everyone using the Chroma Celestial calendar will know when we are living in a leap year. In fact, everyone using the Chroma Celestial calendar will look forward to a leap year , to celebrate reaching another Violetday.
Among the many purposes of the Chroma Celestial calendar, one purpose is to use culturally and religiously neutral time keeping, free from Christianity, Islam or Judaism. The Chroma Celestial calendar is the surface layer and the beginning of a much more comprehensive method of time keeping. Similar to how the ancient Hebrew people used gematria to associate letters with numbers, the Chroma Celestial alphabet will use letters to associate with time. The Chroma Celestial alphabet moves us from simple calendars to complex mnemonic interfaces. This will greatly facilitate our ability to acquire knowledge and languages.
This isn't just another new year, it's a new beginning, it's a new era. New forms of money exist now with cryptocurrency. New forms of calendars and time keeping exist. Soon we'll be using new alphabets. Just remember folks, time is always on your side. Time is always usefully used, even if it seems wasted, time can never be wasted. It's never too late. You're never too old. Join me this new year to synchronize our intentions to make our planet Earth more incredible and beautiful than it already is.
