The purpose of this irrationality is to empower more anti-business and anti-freedom action by California Democrats.
It SEEMS stupid, but it's just devious.
With this total disregard for rationality, imagine in the near future... a California judge just DECLARING that the state's average temperature is ten degrees higher than it was a year ago, and therefore emergency climate action (like emergency medical action) takes precedence over all law and the constitution.
This business of just DECLARING things that aren't real is an ugly direction.
Comical, but ugly.
