It is very interesting how once you were on the Camino, every time you see a road, your mind immediately makes associations with the Way, begins to look for signs, to fly through the adventurous memories and to dream.
And not just at the sight of a street, of a road, paved, clean and flat.
Mostly at the sight of such, barely paved dirt roads.
Suggesting thoughts of difficulties.
Because there is nothing easy there, on the Way.
It was never meant to be easy.
Have you been there too?

Soul's Detour is a project started by me years ago when I had a blog about historical and not so popular tourist destinations in Eastern Belgium, West Germany and Luxembourg. Nowadays, this blog no longer exists, but I'm still here - passionate about architecture, art and mysteries and eager to share my discoveries and point of view with you. |
