Cam Newton was recently involved in a minor fender bender that was significant because the No. 9 most popular NFL player this year, per SNIPdaily was involved and because he was driving a $300,000 Ferrari at the time.
At the time the accident was reported, it was described as very minor. Well, now that we've gotten a bit more information on this incident, "minor" is a very nice way of putting it.
Newton and the driver of the truck that hit him ended up not even filling out paperwork for a police report. Which is pretty funny given the fact that Newton ended up calling 911 to get police out to him so that he COULD file a police report.
"I need the police," Newton said when the 911 operator answered on the other end.
What's even funnier is that, during the 911 call, he almost seemed like he was embarrassed about it all. Here,'s a recording of that call, courtesy of TMZ Sports.

On the one hand, it's easy to understand being worried about a huge work truck hitting your $300,000 Ferrari. But in the end, Newton probably wishes he had taken a closer look at the "damage" before making that call.
