The Harris campaign has all the positive markers of the Sanders' Presidential Primary race - huge, enthusiastic rallies, record volunteer workers and individual donations indicating voter "ownership" of the race. Democrats win on high participation, and the malaise of the Biden campaign has ended like the sun breaking through clouds.
Unlike 2016, when the media refused to cover Bernie's record breaking crowds and funding sources; and further could not mention his name without maligning his "electability", the news (except for Faux & co-conspirators) has taken up the Harris-Walz banner. There is the ideological alignment of supporting mainstream facts, and factually Harris will be a better President than DJ Drumpf, but in this race nobody is targeting the biggest source of TV ad revenue (political campaigns) as Sanders did.
Campaign finance in the US is legalized corruption, and it not only goes to the top of the Executive and Legislative branches. SCOTUS declared campaign finance reform 'un-Constitutional' after taking vacations on billionaire's jets and yachts.
The influence of money is far more in Primary campaigns, as shown by AIPAC's unseating of Jamal Bowman and Cori Bush; and certainly, Harris and Walz have to praise Israel 100% out of "an abundance of caution"; but I do not believe that even the PayPal mafia can spare enugh money to stop the steamroller of hope overpowering the FUD candidates.
I predict Democrat sweep - take back the House, and possibly get to 60 Senators to break the filibuster. The momentum is that strong and the timing too perfect - and besides, we are headed for record fire and hurricane season, bad news for climate change deniers.
I further bet that some wise strategist orchestrated the Biden-Harris switcheroo occurring just after the Repuglican Convention and Veep selection.
